Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I signed a noncompetitive agreement with my most recent employer before he would employ me. after only three months he downsized and i am now unemployed. the agreement was that i would not compete with his business (computer service and repair) within one hundred miles for a period two years. servicing and repairing computers is the only thing i know how to do. is this agreement legal? thanks. zack sadens.

You need to have an attorney review the terms of the non-compete and ask some questions about what you did while you worked for them. If you want some information on defenses to enforcement of a non-compete check our my employee rights blog www.takethisjobnshoveitblog.com or my website www.behrenlaw.com.
