Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I entered into a Verbal greement to be roommates with someone from Florida. I live in Minnesota. After i paid for his hotel and the drive down. After 4 days he said it wasn't working out and iw left to live in my car until i found a new room to rent. I am disabled. On ssdi. We both have hiv. He was going to show me the agencies here so i could have a better life. That's why i moved. He had started i could stay there and pay rent for 6 months until i got qualified for in state programs. What were my rights.if any.

Without a lease agreement, you don't have much you can enforce. Try local aid agencies quickly.
