Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

I had gas spilled in my eyes at a gas station

Hi, The nozzle at the gas station did not seem to work right and I spilled gas in my eyes and all over my body. The paramedics came for me and took me to the emergency room, where they washed my eyes.

Am I entitled to some compensation for my injury?

In order to hold the gas station liable you will have to prove; 1) they were negligent and 2) that you suffered an injury as a result of that negligence.

Did you suffer any permanent injury? If not, then your case would have considerably less value.

How exactly did the gas get in your eyes? Was it the result of the gas station's negligence, or of some third party's negligence?

You should schedule a formal consultation with a lawyer. A good means of obtaining an attorney referral is by contacting your State's bar association or your local county bar association. They probably have a web site and charge a nominal fee for the referral. Most attorneys either provide a free initial consultation, or charge a nominal fee.
