Legal Question in Product Liability in Florida

brother dies with no will
My father was killed in the service and my mother remarried his brother.My stepfather never offically adoptive me or my brother and sister. Our name staid the same since he and my father were brothers. I think the main reason was my mother receive assistance since he was killed in WW2. My stepfather had three children of his own which he and my mother raised along with us. My stepbrother as allways new him has passed away and left no will. He was not married and has no chrildren.He has two living sisters and me which I thought was a halfsister. Since I was not adoptive but was brought up by my stepfather do I have any legal rights to my stepbrothers property .
