Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I allowed a friend to stay with me. This is my apartment under my name. She is refusing to leave. She has family n friends to live with but just wants to give me a hard time. What r my rights?

It depends upon whether she help pay expenses or rent, or she stayed with you for free. If she paid anything to live there, it could be construed to be a rental, and you would have to do an eviction proceeding.

If she was there for free, then she is an invitee, and if she fails to leave, she is trepassing. Then the police may be able to help to get her to leave. Not an easy situation.
