Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
me and my boyfriend have a house he is on the mortgage and the deed. i'am just on the deed. i he gives up the house or they forclose on it will or could the come after me for anything
not really sure what law area this is under

This area of law is Real Estate and Real Property and can also be considered as Consumer Law. Banks who hold the mortgage typically file foreclosure actions against anyone who could have an interest in the property. People who have an interest could include tenants, spouses, other banks, leinholders, etc. If you hold the deed to the property, the mortgage holder (the Bank) would probably name you in the Complaint in order to quiet title against you.
