Purchaser's refusal to execute contract based on purchaser's loss of employment

Under Florida law, may a purchaser refuse to execute a contract for sale of real estate because the purchaser--name removed--lost their job?

If you mean, by the words refusal to execute, not close the transaction the reply is yes. The purchaser may be subject to a claim for damages. That will depend upon the terms of the contract.
