legally can you have a dual durable power of attorney?

you can list two people to work in conjunction on a dpa - however, if one is in one state and the other is in another state, it will be very difficult. I suggest you name one as an agent and the other as an alternate in the event the agent can not act.

I am not quite sure what you mean by dual DPOA. You can have a DPOA providing more than one person to be named agent. You can provide also that all, a majority, or only one person's signature is required.

You can make up more than one DPOA and give to different people, though it is recommended that each is limited to a particular area.
