Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

Repossession of mobile home

My trailer was repossessed. I had built 2 rooms on to my trailer with just the door way ajoining the rooms to the trailer. Did they have a right to come get the 2 rooms. They put my stuff on the ground and had a court order to get the 2 rooms. They sold my trailer to a lady and they sold my 2 rooms with it. What legal rights do I have on this situation if any.

Thank you for your time on this matter.

Re: Repossession of mobile home

The content of your letter suggests that you may have a good legal argument. You may want to consider pursuing it in Magistrates Court. Magistrates Court is a forum used to resolve minor disputes and usually does not involve attorney respesentation on either side of the dispute. Generally, suits in Magistrates Court are filed in the county where the defendant resides. Contact the Magistrates Court in that county for information on how to proceed.
