If tree breaks off and falls onto neighboring property whose wood is it

Without having researched the specific question, I believe the answer is that the tree is the responsibility of its owner, who would be the owner of the property where the tree grew. That person would be responsible for removing the fallen tree from the neighbor's property, and could as part of the cleanup keep the wood.
