Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois

Ham Radio Interference

Neighbor has a federal License to operate a ham radio. He has erected a tower. His powerful frequencies set off my firealarms; TV; security alarm; and a variety of appliances; The fire and police departments, who have been to my house when the alarms go off daily, state that their hands are tied because of a federal license. Is there anything legal that can be done to stop the use of these frequencies. He is uncooperative to help. thanks

Re: Ham Radio Interference

Hello -

I suggest you call your

congressman, your U.S.

Senator and write them, as

well as write and call the

FCC. Between the three you

should be able to get

and answer and/or relief from

the disturbance.
