Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

I own house with my 2 brothers. One brother has hospital bill that caused a lien to be placed on house. Can we sell? Is hospital paid from all 3 brothers shares?

You can sell. The hospital only has a lien on the portion of the house owned by your brother and can only collect what's owed from his share of the profits from the sale.

You can sell regardless. The hospital will be paid out of the proceeds of the sale. Your brothers and you can make the appropriate adjustments for disbursements. Good luck.
