Real Estate Option Contract

If I have an option contract to purchace a property and record it with the county do I have a right to list this property with a realtor?

I would have an attorney look at the the document you signed to determine what exactly you have the right to sell.

Was it a lease-option or just an option? If it was just an option then you need to look to the terms of the option. Does it give you access to show the property? You should have this looked at by a real estate attorney.
