Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

Death before verbal changes were made to will

My relative made verbal changes to his will by speaking on the phone to his attorney(no one else was with him when he was on the phone). Before he could sign the amendments, he died. Is there anyway to make the amendments take effect?

Hello. This is complicated. Unless

there is written evidence of amendments to your relative's will, the Probate Court will not disturb

the present will. Will be happy to

discuss this further and in more detail.
