Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

lawyer will not hand over inheritance because son is having him hold it.

My grandma is supposed to receive

her inheritance from her sister who

passed away back in 2007. She is not

able to receive it because my uncle,

her son will not let the lawyer give it

her her. he is making assumptions

and saying that she is incompetent.

she has bills to pay since she is sick

and needs it. Can you help me??

I take it that the uncle is the presonal reprentative of the estate. Your grandmother needs a lawyer to get a court order compelling your uncle to turn over the funds.
