Last will and testement

If someone dies in IL and her family has her will probated, can I as a oursider read that will and or get a copy of it. And if so how do I go about getting that information

I AGREE WITH CINDI, ALTHOUGH THERE MAY BE A SMALL CHARGE FOR GETTING A PHOTOCOPY OF IT.

Anyone can request a copy of the will if it has been filed with the County since it it public record. Since the will was probated, it would have to be on file with the Probate Clerk's office in the county where the will was probated.
