Legal Question in Family Law in India

I have changed my last name in passport when I was married and now I am divorced and again changing back the last name in the same process of changing the last name in the passport and removing the spouse in the passport.

Now my doubt is to apply for a PAN card and to change the last name in the bank accounts submitting this passport copy is enough or do I need to follow the process of changing the last name through gazit? Please advice. Thanks in advance.
