my brother recruited in "punj lloyd ltd." from campus placement in this college in oct 2011 when he was in final year of his b.tech ,they gave them offer letter at time of joining with proper pay roll and post in the company and joining was meant to be happen on completion of b.tech i,e june 2012, and since then they postponding the joining date with official mail and do not replying with any positive date of joining now it 10 month past and he still not got joining letter from company,because of this job he didnt applied anywhere and he is in trouble, so is there any law againt this type of case,he have company offer letter and all official mail in which they postponeded his joining, do any legal action taken againt this ,and do they liable for any compensation. kindly reply,it's urgent.

The offer letter at a campus interview with a date of joining more than six months after the date of the offer letter is based on the terms and conditions stipulated in the offer letter. The Company ought to give valid reason for postponing the date of joining. Your brother should look for a job elsewhere instead of wasting any more time for this job offer.
