If a cooperative housing society allots a piece of land (plot) to Mr. X (Allottee), can the lease deed have the names of both Mr. X and his eldest son as joint lessees? Please note that the member of society is Mr. X only.

in case the member is x only, there may not be a joint lease deed.

No. It cannot be in joint names. It can be in the name of the allottee only.
