Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana

I have a judgement against me for 6000.00 for a repossed automobile. There has been a garnishment attached to my payroll. I called to check the remaining balance and it is 4700.00, however I have paid ov 3500.00. They informed me that 8% interest is accruing daily. Is this legal to continue interest after a judgement has been established by the courts?

Yes, it is called post judgment interest and is set by statute.
