Adverse possession/quit claim

We have 20 acres that we have been claiming by adverse possession since 1952 and recently hired a lawyer to get the property deeded in my name. I was wanting to know if there is any law regarding cutting the timber before the property is deeded in my name.The property is still in my grt grandfathers name

land in question who has all of the facts and details, you really should ask your lawyer this question.
