we have a land contract on a home we purchased we signed a contract that states taxes are include in the payment the person we purchased the home from is overcharging us for taxes e said that we signed contract for that amount can said person do that legally say taxes are 150 a month but actually they are only 70 a month

No, he can't do that. Now, sometimes an amount for taxes in escrow is set high, and then money is returned to the purchaser each year, but you still only end up paying the taxes, not some extra amount that the seller keeps.
