If you were married for 33 years then walked away from marriage, home and everything, been gone for 8 years and now you want everything can you get things?

No. Each party to a dissolution must submit financials as part of the process and then the court divides up the pile-assets, debts, property.. I f you have not yet filed a dissolution action you should do so today. You can argue abandonment.
