Legal Question in Insurance Law in Louisiana

if a insurance agent, who knows the person who

has an annuity, and knows her wishes, sends the

incorrect forms, (contingent not beneficiary) is he

liable to pay the beneficiaries that were left out of

the settlement?

It could be possible if you could prove the allegations. What you are alleging sounds very difficult to prove, though. You would have to prove what her wishes were, prove that the agent knew those wishes, and prove that the agent then essentially tricked her. As the agent has no apparent motive to do that, I can't see how you could prove your case.
