inheritance law in louisiana

My father married a woman years ago. She had 2 children (who are now adults). He purchased a house after they were married. My father has now passed away. He did not have a will. We live in Louisiana. Are the stepchildren owed any inheritance from my father ?

Probably not, but his house is probably community property and her children will probably inherit from her. Also, if they were married when he died, she gets a usufruct (right to use and enjoy) over all community property until death or remarriage.
