Legal Question in Business Law in Maryland

A car I bought "AS-IS" from a dealer after being assured that everything was alright with the car, began to manifest a lot of mechanical faults barely two weeks after the purchase. These faults includes the car stopping at the middle of the road. Now because of this particular fault, the car had an accident two days ago, even before I could register it in my State. What do I do? I can't lose both ways.
