Legal Question in Employment Law in Maryland

Wrongfully Termed?

My wife & i worked on the same job, she for about 18yrs & i for about 12yrs. I had been a Supervisor for about 7 to 8 or so of those years. One day the District Mgr said that one of us (my wife or I) had to be tranfered to a different location (after all those years)I can't be her Supervisor anymore. I said that I would go if there was a policy stating that we could not work together. (she worked the early shift 7-4 and I worked 11-7 or 2-10). There is nothing stated in the hand book that said that family can't work or be a Supervisor. A week after I was let go they hired two brothers and a cousin working at the same location.

Re: Wrongfully Termed?

You do not provide enough information to fully evaluate any possible claim you may have. You need to contact an attorney who is knowledgeable about employment matters to consider you potential case further. This is not a legal problem that can be addressed in this type of on line format.
