Legal Question in Traffic Law in Maryland

traffic/expired cdl

I have a commercial drivers licence, which is a class A with hazmat endorcement and doubles and triples, but I have not been driving professionaly due to medical reason. I have not been able to go to the DMV, to renew my license because of my health. Will I have to take the test all over again? The license expired Mach 2008 and it is now July 2008.

Your CDL is expired and will require renewal otherwise you can be fined and jailed for carry a load without a license. Based on your designations your application will be reviewed for renewal.

You'll be required to pass a vision test or be designated as needing to have eye vision correction to drive. Other health conditions may be limits based on your CDL classification.

HAZMAT endorsements now require fingerprints and background reviews. Your application can exclude HAZMAT where employment does not require such transport.

Your health condition is not specified. Contact me to discuss should you encounter issue with engaging carrier contracts.
