My landlady is trying to sell her house before it goes to be auctioned off she says we have to move in June do we have to move once it gets to that stage or can we stay?

Realistically, if your landlady wants you to move out, you will eventually have to leave. It may be her desire to sell the premises free of tenants.

However, before your landlady can force you to leave, she must serve you with a proper Notice to Quit in order to terminate your tenancy.

If you still do not move, she will need to file an eviction action in court. Only at the conclusion of a successful eviction action can you be removed from the premises.
