Legal Question in Consumer Law in Massachusetts

Went to court and have not yet received settlement

Hi...I sued a well known retailer, in civil court, on April 1, 2004....Months have gone by and I still have not received my check. I signed all of my necessary papers months ago, yet I'm still waiting and no one will give me a straight answers about anything. What is the normal waiting time to receive payment? If I do not receive anything within that time, what are my options?

Thanks so much!

If you won your case in small claims court you may have great difficulty collecting - contact the court clerk for advice. You may also want to call on the TV call for action people and see if they're interested.

It would be necessary to see the actual judgement you presumably recieved from the Court to answer your question. Contact an attorney who handles collection of judgments.
