i have a continuance without a finding for two years with one year still in effect can i have it shortend so i anc join the army

You can petition to have it shortened for that purpose. I have worked with recruiters in regard to this issue and other issues which delay or block enlistment.

Speak to your probation officer, and then bring the matter before the court on a motion with evidence that you have been accepted into the army or whatever you have. In filing the motion, you need to schedule it for a hearing and inform the assistant district attorney as well.
