license revoked for bad checks, fraud

20 years ago i passed some bad checks in MA. My drivers license has been suspended ever since then. I was barely 20 years old, I am now 40. Is there a statute of limitations on these debts? Is there any way to have my license reinstated? Warrants were issued 20 years ago as well - are there limits as far as time on them?

The debt itself is probably dead, but that won't eliminate the criminal warrants. Chances are that the Commonwealth won't be able to prosecute at this time. Disposing of the cases may be relatively easy. However, you will not be able to get your license back without clearing up the warrants and you won't be able to clear up the warrants without going to the court(s) that issued them. Because of the length of the default, I would not recommend going to court without a lawyer.
