Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

15 year old girl moving in with father who only has visitation rights? is it leg

I am 15 years old. I am wondering if I could move in with my father for more than a year, switch schools, and work in the same town as him. My father only has visitation rights over my 14 year old sister and I. we spend the weekends and almost all school vacations at his house. My mother has full custody of us. I am wondering if I can move in wiht my father and not have my mother turn over full custody of me, but have my father be able to legally make major decisions for me, because I am a minor, and be able to legally sign school papers, work papers ect.

Speak to your dad's lawyer. You are old enough to address the court.

Go to http://www.fatherhoodcoalition.org and call their hotline. You'll get help and advise from the fathers there.
