Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

My childrens father recently committed suicide and left a note which has not been offered to me by his current wife. Do my children have a right to a copy of this and the police report since he had been seeing a psychiatrist and taking psychotrpoic drugs which may have lead to his suicide
