Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

I currently have a civil lawsuit against my town for an incident, only my lawyer is really slow and this may be due to his relations to the town. Now the twist is I'm still a minor and my mom doesn't really have the strive to change lawyers. Am I able to when I'm 18?

you might. If the suit is in your behalf by your mother, when you turn 18, you can proceed on your own.
