Legal Question in Family Law in Mexico

hello,

i have a fiance who is mexican and who had a baby that has a usa father. her mother was given custody because at the time of birth the babie's mother - my fiancee was unable to care for it... it is handicap and the "grandmother" gets checks from usa b/c baby is handicapped... now my fiance and i would like to take over the baby and care for it but what can she do? we have a slight problem communicating b/c she is mexican and i speak very little of language.

please can someone tell me what to do for my fiance and her baby to have same rights as her mother now has who collects money from USA for disabled child? thank you so much and God Bless... Les

She must visit the Court where the Judge given custody to the grandmother. She must request for her custody rights back. At the Family Court where was the custody decision is possible ask for the custody. If she is able to get again the custody and she has proofs of her new status to get her kid back, no problem, she can get back the custody.
