Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Michigan

i work for a company this is open every holiday except Easter,Christmas and Thanksgiving. I myself am not happy about that because I believe family is important and those hoildays that the company is open is interfering with me being with my family. So my question is is it againts my right to pursue happiness? If im fired for standing up for this right can I take it to a court of law?
