Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

Small claims

I was wondering if a claim against a company for collections that was under $3000.00 would go further than to small calims.

Thank you.

Re: Small claims

You can bring a claim under $3000 in general civil court, but you most likely will need/want an attorney. Attorneys are not allowed in small claims court. If you are talking about appeal, you appeal rights from a small claims judgment are extrmely limited. If you have any further questions, please contact me at www.lawgreg.com.
