Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

I spoke via telphone to a debt collector (law firm) for a credit card delinquent account I have. I agreed, verbally, to pay money up-front by a certain date & then, make monthly payments as agreed. The creditor agreed to this arrangement. Today I received in the mail the written agreement along with a State of Michigan, District Court paper - ORDER OF CONSENT JUDGEMENT- that states: It is hereby ordered this Judgement is granted in favor of the plaintiff as follows: and gives the damages, cost & over all judgement. They state that my spouse & I are to sign the back page. My problem & concern is that everything is left blank - no judge signature - no date, and says at the bottom: This Judgement/Order resolves the last pending claim in above case, and closes the case. But, no signature from the Atty or Judge. I feel a bit nervous about signing something that only our signatures are on & they could fill-in after the fact. Please advise. thank you!!! By the way - the want the first payment by this friday & I just rec'd the letter this AM (Tues.).

You have to sign first. The judge won't sign and date it until you do. Then you're sent a copy.
