Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

My case is larceny under 200 dollars. I have not been in trouble in 9 years. What can happen

To lessen the chance that you will be severely punished:

1. Ask for a court appointed attorney.

2.Dress nicely - white shirt (tucked in) dark slacks (NO JEANS) ...maybe a tie.

3. Keep your hands out of your pockets.

4. Address the judge as "Your Honor".

This is just a suggestion to show the court you're a good guy --- donate a pint of blood to the Red Cross. Keep the sheet they give you to show to probation.
