Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

legal fathers rights

I had a child with another man. But my fiance signed all legal responsibilities on the baby who now is going on 2. the bioligical father did not want any thing to do with her at all even when I moved in with him.. I left him and came back home. reason for is that he would not take responsibility of his child. I had paturnity done on both legal and bio fathers for legal reasons. I went through vital records to try and change her last name from the legal father to the bio fathers but the bio father refused to sign anything to make her his.. he told me he did not like her and he wanted nothing to do with her.. so I left.... and now 5 months after I left he wants ''ME'' to bring him his daughter... she does not like him. she is scared of him and I am scared to leave her with him.. I did contact my lawyer and I spent 3 hrs in her office making calls to foc.. trying to figure out the finances and we got to 7500.00 .. I am moving now and I was wondering If I could legally move out of state with her.. even though she has a biological father (that wants nothing to do with her. but has a legal father that wants full custody.. how do I go about it.

Re: legal fathers rights

You go back to your lawyer and figure it out. Playing games with paternity has obviously not worked for you, so you might do better to keep that attorney on retainer until this gets sorted out.
