Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

How long is a Judges order good for? I live in Michigan, but it was a Federal Court that the order was signed in. I was advised that an order is only good for 10 years. Is that true?

what kind of order? orders are permanent and forever, unless vacated, reversed or otherwise nullified. Are you referring to a monetary Judgment, such as through a collection action by a credit card company? These types of Judgments are generally valid and collectible for 10 years, however, they can be renewed as necessary.
