Attending day care

We terminated our day care provider. She expects us to pay for three weeks. We had not yet signed the contract but gave her a verbal commitment. Are we still required to pay her when we had only a verbal contract?

Yes, you are required to pay her the amount you agreed upon verbally if she performed the services. Most employee and contractors have verbal contracts.
