Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

Breach of Contract - Daycare

My daycare provider sent me an email yesterday terminating care for my son immediatly. My contract states that she will give two (2) weeks notice. There is a provision for immediate termination but her reason for terminating him is not listed as one of the reasons for immediate termination in the contract. The contract does not state what would happen if she did not provide two weeks notice. Is there any thing that I can do? If I did not give two weeks notice I would have to pay for two weeks worth of care. Can I request the same from her?

Re: Breach of Contract - Daycare

No. Your son must have done something so rotten that you don't even want to talk about it.

The contract doesn't have to list every cause for termination.
