Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

sister claims i owe money

My sister and I are involved in a dispute over the divorce of my parents. I told her over the phone I no longer wished to speak to her. She sent me an e-mail claiming that I owe her $300 for a loan from 1995. I have no knowledge of this loan, and the only ''proof'' she has is her check register, which has my name and a $300 deduction. I think that she is making this up due to our argument. I have asked repeatedly for copies of checks or something that says that this was a loan but she has furnished nothing. Can she take me to court based on a check register that no where says that a loan was made to me?
