Re: Subpoenas

In Michigan, a lawyer can sign a subpoena, except one to attend a creditor's hearing. With a creditor's hearing, the judge signs it. Also, in workers comp, the magistrate must sign it. subpoenas also must be accompanied by a witness fee of the proper amount, unless they are mailed. If mailed, the fee is produced when the witness appears. Bill Stern 248-353-9400
