Suing someone in another state.

If someone reneges on a signed contract owing you money how would you go about suing someone in Michigan if you live in Florida?

It would depend upon the type of contract, the subject matter, where it was entered and the parties involved. I would have to review to determine if if jurisdiction can be in Florida.
