Legal Question in Employment Law in Michigan

My employer as cut my pay twice in the last six months by 12,000.00 dollars each time once in march and now in august I started with 62,000.00 now I am making only 38,000.00 do I have any legal right because now I can't live on what I make to cover all my bills. I work in Michigan but I live in Ohio. My wage next week and I was wondering what legal rights I have??

Do you have a contract with your employer regarding your salary and its terms? If not, then your employer can change your salary/wages at any time, so long as it's not illegal (such as for discriminatory reasons, or falls below minimum wage). You work in Michigan and, therefore, Michigan laws would apply to any employment issues.
