Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan
Seeking to advise tenant regarding another person moving in and not paying rent.
As the landlord, we realize our hands our tied but we are seeking to advise a tenant who lives with a friend and her friends boyfriend moved in and is refusing to pay any amount of the rent. The boyfriend is not listed as an occupant or tenant on the lease. Is there anything we can suggest to her? Thank you for your time.

Re: Seeking to advise tenant regarding another person moving in and not paying rent.
Either you or the tenant can evict him, giving him 30 days notice.
