Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in Michigan

bad representation

I had a car inspected through J J's pre purchase inspections companyof wisconsin and asked to be sure there was NO bondo in car . they assured me in wrighting there wasn't any, I bought the car and when I recieved it it had a lot of bondo, what can I do about it? they say they have a disclaimer which protects them.

There is probably nothing you can do except get your money back for the inspection. I would never deal with a company that starts out the relationship saying that they have no legal responsibility to perform the job that you hire them to perform. I have found that such companies usually hire incompetent people. Imagine hiring a lawyer who had a client sign the same release. William S. Stern
